“Hike that ball! And mosey to that line! The Buttons want a touchdown, and we’re doing just fine!”

High school football has taken a very popular, top spot on Friday nights.

Both in and around San Antonio, high school football on Fridays is one of the main things for teenagers to do on their weekends.

Alexandra Cavazos (11th ) said, “I look forward to having football games on Friday nights, the atmosphere and crowd presence excites me.”

Many students attend the local games on Friday’s nights; whether they are for the home team or the opposing, adults and young teens find that going to the local football games are not only a fun thing to do, but also a stress reliever.

Lauren Medina (10th ) said, “I like Friday night foot ball games because it allows me to spend time with my friends and relive the stress of school work; you can just go and have fun enjoy yourself while cheering for my favorite team at the same time.”
